Game did not crash until I Esc out and clicked options. There was the catch! Any edits I had done, like for example head bobbing, reverted back to default. It did shave off about 30 seconds loading timetextures took the longest. Actually I was able to launch the game no problem. If you load your game without any problems, you're probably good to go. The goal here is to NOT use them so dump them once you're done. To be sure it's working, rename/move all of your original db files out of the Stalker folder entirely. files IN ORDERunpack gamedata.db0, db1, db2.dba., dbb33 - Move all the new files into your /gamedata/ folder but do not overwrite existing files.This can be tricky, that's why I copy /gamedata to another drive, build it all there, then move it back.Once it's done, run a quick test. The trick here is to install all of your mods, patches, etc., before you unpack anything and do NOT overwrite any of the gamedata/ files with your unpacked db files.So.:1- Backup /gamedata just in case.2 - Unpack all.db.
